Notes: Laws of Robotics (LOR) does live video mixing and scratching via custom software they created.  The effect is slightly different than mixing video tapes with a mixer because LOR can manipulate the videos in their computer live along with the music.  For example, a loop can be sped up to match any beat, the timeline can be scratched just like a record, and they can switch between videos on the fly.  As a result, LOR's vj'ing is very intuitive and spontaneous.
