Masters of Animation, Volume 4 Comp Anim from Japan & More.
John Halas 1986, 86 min
Although rather dated, this tape still holds much value, while intrinsically documenting and detailing the work of Japan's top computer animators at the time. The tape has some work not produced by computer, but it is very worthwhile, and this tape is a solid compilation, and a good choice to expand your library to show some of the roots of computer animation.
Box says: Over 10 years in the making, Masters of Animation represents the peak achievements of 7,000 artists from 13 countries. Produced and directed by John Halas, former president of the International Animated Film Association and award winning animator, the series provides an opportunity to experience the exciting diversity of the world's leading animation artists. In addition, viewers are treated to examples of state of the art animation technology.
