| I started this site in the summer of 1999, when I had a
fair bit of time on my hands, as I was taking a much needed break from
various stuff in my life. I did a lot of research on video
synthesizers, something that had always interested me, but I didn't know
too much about, and learned a lot about early video performance
art. It's always good to know where stuff has come from in order
to comment intelligently on the potential future. Anyway, over the past
3 years, I've done all of the work on the site myself. I'm no expert
in flash, or snazzy web design, but I figure the basis of any good site
is it's content - and it seems to work, so I've just kept chugging away
at things as my time allows. The thing is that now, I don't have
quite as much time as I used to, and also just having one person (me)
write articles and content for the site, kinda limits things to a
certain extent. Therefore, I have put out a small call to arms to
ask people to help me create a bit more of a community oriented online
environment, and help with a few certain tasks that I don't have time to
keep up with. This page is to thank those people for their help,
and for those of you that may be willing to put in a bit of time with
your web related skills to keep us on the edge. Thanks! -dave |
