I've included Magix as a pseudo-vj related software publisher just because.  Their software actually looks like crap from everything I've seen, but it actually might be ok for beginners looking to get into an integrated audio & video production and performance package.  I downloaded and checked out some of their software, but either their demo's were so limited that I couldn't do much to check visual sync related stuff out, or I just lost out on patience, because I really hated the software.  But this is my opinion...who knows?  I've heard some good stuff about bundled video clips and reasonable prices, so you never know....  Here are some images from some of their product line.  Of particular interest is live act video and music video maker - check their web site if you want further details.

Programs are mainly available for the PC.
